The future of digital evidence management databases and technologies on IP Platforms as the evolution of the convergence of IT and Security / Law Enforcement runs its course.  Key recommendations for design, budgetary expectations and workflow analysis for government, law enforcement and security organizations.

Digital Evidence Management Solutions for the future must allow multiple sources of evidence to be digitized, stored, searched, retrieved and viewed within a single digital library. MediaSolv integrates evidence from multiple sources including: digital audio (911 calls, wiretaps, and surveillance audio), in-car video, digital video interrogation, digital images (photos, scanned film/prints), and documents..  Siloes of digital evidence may exist on photo management software, records management systems, or video surveillance management systems. These disparate processes and proprietary software do not allow integration between different storehouses of digital evidence and do not allow agencies to connect these important silos of information.
