Topic: Identification of Rogue Access and How to Protect Your Network:

What are the different ways to identify rogues wirelessly and on the wire, which should be considered a threat. Should the threats be contained or not and what are the laws that govern the unlicensed ban today.

Speaker: Nick Irvine, Consulting Systems Engineer - Wireless, Cisco Systems CCIE# 11337, R&S

I began my career in 2000 working at a large secondary mortgage company.  There I worked on financial and market data networks.  There, I worked with routing/switching, 802.11, and focused on advanced protocol forensics.  I left my first company in 2007 to work for a gold partner in Richmond, VA focusing routing and switching, security, and 802.11.  In 2008 I joined Foundry Networks as a Systems Engineer, while at Foundry we were acquired by Brocade.  At Foundry Networks/Brocade, as an SE, I focused on Ethernet switching, carrier networking, 802.11, and data center networking.  I joined Cisco in May 2010 as a Systems Engineer, working with the Commonwealth of VA.  In May 2012, I started my current role as a Consulting Systems Engineer focusing on Unified Access for Enterprise.
