Topic: Google Hacking (made easy, for dummies, for fun and profit...pick your cliche)

Everyone's heard of Google Hacking, but what is it? Why does it work? What can you get out of it? What defensive measures can protect against it? And why would anyone want to hack Google, who gives away all of the information for free?

We'll talk about how to construct Google queries that actually give you information about a target, and ways to avoid the inevitable pitfalls.

 

Speaker: Bruce Diamond

Bruce has been using, building, fixing, and playing with computers in one form or another since 1980. He got interested in security when he took his first SANS course in 2001, and never looked back.

Bruce is currently a Lead Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton, consulting with Government clients on a wide variety of information security related topics. Prior to his employment at Booz Allen, he taught information various information security topics for US Air Force and the SANS Institute.

A graduate of Drexel University, Bruce is highly regarded for his expertise in all aspects of computer technology. He has been a regular speaker at local and regional security seminars for more than 10 years. Bruce received his GSEC certification in 200, CISSP and GPEN certifications in 2009, and GCFE and SEC+ in 2014.
