Thomas Wood works as consulting systems engineer within Cisco’s cloud security group (formerly OpenDNS). With 15 years experience in the field of information security, he’s had opportunities to work as enterprise defender, value added reseller/consultant and manufacturer pre-sales engineer for non-profits, financial services companies, utilities, value added resellers, start ups and several of the largest providers of hardware and software in the world.  Thomas holds CISSP #342128 as well as GIAC’s Network and Systems Auditor certification and technical certifications for RSA and Palo Alto Networks products.

When not traveling the eastern United States engaging with customers and partners, Thomas works out of his home in Atlanta which he shares with his wife, kids and dogs.  When not working you’re most likely to find him playing Transformers on the floor with his kids.
